Eminem has not been shy about his apparent disdain for Diddy in his music

Eminem has made jabs at many celebrities since he hit the rap scene, but he has continued to make digs at Diddy for over 20 years.

If you have listened to Eminem, even a little you would know the rapper isn’t afraid to make fun of people.

Whether doing so with venom and vim, or a playful joke at their expense, the hip hop legend has made a name for himself being upfront with his jokes and comments directed at other celebrities.

One person who he has been taking shots at for years is Diddy – real name Sean Combs – who currently faces a slew of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The rapper has denied all allegations made against him

While many have since gone on to shoot shots at Diddy, Eminem has been doing it for years.

(1996)- F****** crazy

“Original Bad Boy on the case, cover your face. Came in the place blowed, and sprayed Puffy with Mase.”

Just a rather tongue and cheek jab at Diddy and fellow rapper Mase

(2000)- Marshall Mathers

“You little groupie b****, get off me, go f**k Puffy.”

At this point Eminem had established himself as a young artist willing to take on heavyweights, like Diddy, in the industry.

(2000) – I’m Back

“Cause if I ever stuck it to any singer in showbiz. It’d be Jennifer Lopez and Puffy, you know this. I’m sorry, Puff, but I don’t give a f**k.”

This was seemingly reference to the fact that Jennifer Lopez and Diddy dated between 1999 and 2001, and that Eminem would like to be… well, intimate with the singer.

While his previous bars were crass they can be seen as pretty playful but towards the end of the 2010’s Eminem’s shots at Diddy’s seemed to take a more serious tone.

(2018) -Killshot

“Kells, the day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed.”

Admittedly, Eminem did end the song by saying ‘I’m just playing, Diddy, you know I love you,’. This suggested he might not have believed what he was rapping, despite Diddy and B.I.G. having a well-documented beef with west coast rappers, most notably Tupac.

(2020) -Godzilla

“They call me Diddy because I make bands, and I call getting cheese a cakewalk.”

This bar is a massive throwback to Diddy’s MTV reality TV show, Making The Band, from the early 2000. Aspiring singers or artists would compete for a chance to be the producers next big music group.

In one infamous episode, made the group members walk six miles round trip across the Brooklyn Bridge to fetch him a slice of cheesecake from a specific bakery. This incident wasn’t received well by viewers, as some deemed it humiliating and pointless, despite Diddy saying he wanted to test their commitment and resilience.

The rapper’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), appeared to allude to the ongoing legal troubles and accusations Diddy has been facing.

(2024)- Fuel

“Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effect of 2Pac’s murder, like facial tissue, whose clock should I clean next? Puff’s?

“Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?

And from the same song, he added:

“A R-A-P-E-R. Got so many S-As, S-As. Wait, he didnt just spell RAPPER and leave out a P, did he?…”

The song seems a little less referencial and more prophetic considering the ongoing legal issues the rapper and producer now faces.

(2024) – Antichrist

“Next idiot ask me is getting his ass beat worse than Diddy did — But on the real, though, she probably ran out the room with his f**king dildo.”

A line referencing the Cassie and Diddy video that stunned the world, as well as the sexual assault allegations against the Bad Boy record producer.

UNILAD has contacted Diddy and Eminem’s representatives for comment.

Diddy has broken his social media silence following recent sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Sean Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, awaiting trial after being charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion

The rapper has denied all allegations made against him.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that a further 120 people have since come forward accusing the rapper of sexual misconduct.

Allegations have reportedly come from both men and women ranging in age from nine to 38 at the time of the incidents.

Tony Buzbee, an attorney who is representing the accusers, said at a press conference: “We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.

“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world. The wall of silence has now been broken.”

Amid the recent allegations, Combs’ attorney Erica Wolf told UNILAD: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.

“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Diddy has been denied bail twice and is awaiting a trial date.

As the noise continues surrounding Diddy’s situation, the rapper has posted an Instagram post to commemorate his daughter’s birthday.

He wrote: “Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! ❤️🫶🏽Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you 🎂🎉.”

The New York Post previously reported that Comb’s first meal behind bars was a choice of Swedish meatballs or a black bean burger.

The rapper is also said to have had the option of egg noodles, green beans and a garden salad with dressing as side options.

There has also been noise surrounding Diddy’s mental wellbeing as of late.

Marc Agnifilo, one of Diddy’s attorney, opened up about the rapper’s mental state recently.

Agnifilo was interviewed in The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, a new TMZ documentary that touches on recent events involving the hip hop mogul.

He said: “His state of mind is actually remarkable positive. I spend several hours with him every day… His resolve is strong. He’s engaged.

“He’s focused on his defence… he [has] come to terms with the fact that this is where he is for now.”

While Usher is now a household name in the music industry, he was once a up and coming star needed some help finding his sound.

At the age of 14, Usher was signed to the LaFace record label, which was headed by former X Factor judge L.A. Reid at the time.

Just a few years prior to being signed in 1994, fellow hip-hop star Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had been signed by Uptown Records.

Diddy is nine years older than ‘Burn’ hitmaker Usher, and with this in mind and him already having a few more years experience in the music industry, Reid decided to ship Usher off to New York.

Usher has previously discussed what it was like being so young and having attended the notorious ‘Puffy Flavor Camp’ – a so-called mentorship program run by Diddy.

Speaking to Howard Stern back in 2016, he explained that he’d lived with the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker for a year.

During this time, Usher claimed that he’d ‘saw some things’, however, he remained schtum on what the things were.

“It was curious. I got the chance to see some things,” Usher shared to Stern. “I went there to see the lifestyle. And I saw it. I don’t know if I could indulge and understand really what I was I looking it.”

Usher’s interview resurfaced in recent months in light of the allegations Diddy is facing.

The rapper is currently behind bars in New York, where he’ll remain until his trial starts in May 2025.

In his 2016 memoir titled Sing To Me: My Story Of Making Music, Finding Magic And Searching For Who’s Next, Reid addressed the topic.

In it, Reid said he wanted Usher to sound ‘edgier’, so sent him Diddy’s way.

“Usher was fifteen years old, but nothing about him ever seemed juvenile,” he wrote, as per MailOnline.

“I was turning him over to the wildest party guy in the country at an age when I still needed to get his mother’s permission, but he went to New York for almost a year.

“I didn’t know whether I was being irresponsible or having an epiphany. I would never be sure flavor camp worked until he came back.”

But Reid seemingly got what he wanted and apparently the ‘camp’ gave Usher the traits he’d hoped for.

“Puffy had done exactly what I wanted him to do for Usher,” he recalled. “He gave this little kid a hip-hop-infused R&B sound full of bad boy swagger.”

Eminem’s recent album release takes aim at Sean Diddy Combs over the 1996 and 1997 deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G

Eminem has released a diss track, taking aim at no other than Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Diddy has been facing major legal issues since last year with several allegations made against him which range from sexual assault to grooming.

He’s also been accused of having something to do with the murders of The Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur, who were both gunned down on the street in a seeming drive-by – allegations which Diddy denies.

And now, Eminem has rehashed the big claims against the rapper in his latest track.

The rapper, from Detroit, released an extended version of his new album The Death of Slim Shady on September 13, and it now includes a remix of his song ‘Fuel’, featuring Westside Boogie and Grip.

In his lyrics, Eminem publicly names Diddy as he states:

“The Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effects of 2Pac’s murder / Like facial tissue, whose card should I clean next? Puff’s? / ‘Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?

“Like gee, never turned himself in, who knows all the murders there’s been / Or me next up, prepare for me to not choose none of my words carefully.”

But it’s not the first time Eminem has hit out at Diddy with these claims.

In the original ‘Fuel’ song, he rapped: “I’m like a R-A-P-E-R / Got so many S-As, S-As / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he? / R.I.P., rest in peace Biggie / And ‘Pac, both of y’all should be living / But I ain’t tryna beef with him / ‘Cause he might put a hit on me like, ‘Keefe D, get him.’”

Then, on his track ‘Antichrist’, Eminem went in on him again, with lyrics reading: “Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his a** beat worse than Diddy did / But on the real, though / She prolly ran out the room with his f****n’ d-ldo / He try to field goal punt her, she said to chill / Now put it back in my a– and get the steel toe.”

Even though Diddy refuted the claims against him in 2011 to L.A. Weekly, there are those who still think he had something to do with it.

He said to the outlet: “It is pure fiction and completely ridiculous.”

Combs has previously responded to the allegations of assault, saying: “So difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you got to do that. I was f**ked up.

“I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses, my behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, I’m disgusted.

“I was disgusted then when I did it, I am disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab.

“Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I am committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness, I’m truly sorry.”

New music from Eminem could be right around the corner

People think they’ve worked out when Eminem’s newest music is releasing and it’s certainly not long away at all

In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Dr Dre confirmed that Eminem was working on his twelfth album.

He said: “Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year. He said it was okay for me to make an announcement right here on the show.”

Dre also has a production credit on some of the tracks.

He continued: “I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually going to get the entire album for the first time tomorrow.

“He holds his music close to his chest I haven’t even heard anything complete that I’ve done, but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album in 2024.”

Since then, fans of the much-loved rapper have been trying to guess when the new album may release.

And in a video posted by the man himself on social media on Monday (20 May), we have been given the biggest indication yet.

The video appears with a short message that reads: “And for my last trick!” before being sent to all of Eminem’s contacts.

The most interesting part of the video though is the date it’s been sent on: 31 May.

While it doesn’t exactly mean Eminem’s newest music is coming on that particular Friday, fans seem to think it’s a pretty obvious hint.

“This is it. Not gonna be able to eat, sleep, p**s or s**T. My whole existence consists of this,” one person commented.

“May 31, single dropping for sure. Unless it’s a Kamikaze situation and he drops both a single and the album…” a second speculated while a third remarked: “I’m feeling a single and music video, not the full album quite yet. I really want a proper cover reveal and track list, don’t even have to drop features imo I just want the full experience this time.”

Eminem’s last album, Music to be Murdered By was released in 2020, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 100 chart.

It was the rapper’s tenth consecutive album which managed to achieve this – showing what a true music icon he really is.
